Sketchbook Series Fly Boxes - No. 003 (Coll. Pheasant Fly)

In 2021, notable book collector and author Charles Thacher donated his entire collection of fly fishing literature to AMFF. One of Charles' personal favorites from the collection was a series of six personal sketchbooks. The sketchbooks' artist, Casimir Naleway, worked in the Chicago steel mills but spent his free time engaged in artistic pursuits. Each sketchbook meticulously details and catalogs hundreds of different flies, with the entire series comprising more than 2,000 individual hand drawn flies. These durable, self-healing, scent-free silicon boxes have excellent hook holding power and feature a slim design that’s perfect both on and off the water. Boxes measure 7.33” x 3.75” x 0.60”.
